It's a humiliation that thousands of ordinary people face every day and will probably have come as quite a shock to the shapely 27-year-old, whose life lately has centred around looking fabulous at swanky events and adorning magazine covers.
According to eyewitnesses, Pippa's £40,000 BMW Z4 soft-top was immobilised by a bailiff in a street in London's fashionable Chelsea, where she has a flat.

She does carry a panic alarm linked to the police, but her parents are said to be worried that the hugely popular party planner may be attacked by a crazed fan or even kidnapped and want her protection beefed up.
